The count down is on to the close of the games and our teams were still in full competition mode.  Sports saw some key moments in their competition that determined final finishes and progression in their pools.  We are continuing to cheer on our teams as they head into the last days of the games.  Our Trampoline athletes competed for the first time in the synchro event and had outstanding results with a 5th placed finish on the standing.  Team NL also took some time to recognize all the coaches, managers, sports support personnel and mission staff.  The commitment and dedication that all of these individuals have put into each of their sports is amazing.  Without them, our athletes would not have the opportunity to compete at the Canada Games.  On behalf of Team NL, thank you for making this experience a reality for over 200 athletes from Newfoundland and Labrador and for your continued support to develop sport in our province.  We look forward to the last few days of the games and witnessing positive results from our teams.
