All Is Well In The Village

The following statement has been issued by Canada Games Council further to an incident in Sherbrooke this afternoon:"Earlier today, an individual not associated with the 2013 Canada Games was stopped by Sherbrooke police near the Champlain residences. Working on the advice of the police, athletes were evacuated as a precaution. The man was apprehended, athletes are safe and returning to Games residences and any delays in competition are being rescheduled."

So all is well in the Athletes Village and we look forward to an exciting evening of competition!
